WHS Advisor
Seeing Machines is seeking a Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Specialist to ensure compliance with safety regulations, mitigate risks, and foster a culture of safety.

With at least 2 million cars on the road using our state-of-the-art operator monitoring technology developed by the passionate team at Seeing Machines, we provide real-time protection from distraction and drowsiness-related driving events.
The WHS Specialist is responsible for ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment, and implementing strategies to minimise risks.
About the opportunity:
- Policy & Compliance: Develop and maintain WHS policies in line with regulations, ensuring compliance and reporting to regulatory bodies.
- Risk Management: Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments, investigate incidents, and implement corrective actions.
- Training & Awareness: Design and deliver WHS training programs, promoting a culture of safety and ongoing employee education.
- Emergency Preparedness: Develop emergency response plans, conduct drills, and coordinate efforts during emergencies.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Track safety data, prepare reports, and recommend continuous improvement initiatives based on safety trends.
About you:
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of WHS regulations, standards, and best practices.
Analytical Thinking: Ability to identify risks and develop practical solutions.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for training, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
Leadership: Ability to influence and motivate teams to prioritize safety.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous in monitoring compliance and identifying potential hazards.
